Yes, that is correct. Today i FOUND a 10mm socket! Working on a strange car my kid dragged home, and i found a 3/8" drive shallow chrome 6pt. A chinese Craftsman to be sure, but it wasn't one i'd previously lost. The Universe has shifted!

I thought the same thing when I found a Mac 1/4" 10mm socket in the battery tray of my dad's truck.

That was pre-virus though...

I have now bought the same one mid-length 10mm Snap-on socket (4 times) in the last 2 years. They all fell in the engine compartment of a vehicle while parked inside my garage.

No way, not possible, I don't believe it! Being Craftsman probably a defective socket, 3/8" or 11mm socket mis-stamped 10mm.

Happened to me last year. Had this 14mm Craftsman except it was a 16mm by Halfords Advanced but was laser etched 14mm in a set that I finally opened after a year. Went to Sears to get it exchange under warranty. No 14mm to be found except I did find one on a 15mm card. Pre covid19 so it must have been aliens!

That socket’s a doozy.

Funny timing. Taking a dog walk two days ago I spotted something in the grass along the road. An Indestro 10mm 12 point socket, half buried in the dirt. The 10mm part made me laugh.

Then a couple streets over, we walked right up on a Craftsman 1/4 by 1/4 in the middle of the road.

Both sockets were preceded by an old Millers Falls miter box at the curb, which I went back for with the car.

I got a 10mm deep no name from the radiator support of a car I parted last year.
Best one was wrenching under my van and finding the 10mm I lost 2.5 years previously. Wiped the rust off it and clicked it onto the empty slot on my socket rail. That felt good!

Just today I was using a 10mm Craftsman combo wrench that I found in an 1966 Alfa Romeo Duetto when I bought it in the early 1970's. It has turned a lot of 10mm nuts and bolts over the years.

Narnia must be so full of 10mm sockets by now,
they're finally starting to throw a few back.
