The location: Minneapolis Minnesota
The size: 24 x 36 accessory building with radiant floor heat.
The type of use: A portion will be used to store a '93 MR2 that is very seldom driven.
A portion of the area will be used for storage of things like the 3pt chipper\shredder, the 3pt tiller, two large lawn tractor trailers, etc. that are not used very often. The intent is to put these items on 'dollies with casters' that I will build to hold each of them and allow me to efficiently arrange them on the floor.
Another portion will be parking for a JD 1025R SCUT tractor with a loader and backhoe on it. It has R1 tires on it and is used several times a month.
Another portion will be used for parking of a JD X595 "garden" tractor [is you can call a 24hp Diesel a 'garden' tractor] that during the summer has the mower and R3 tires on it in the summer and a snow blower and R4 with chains on it in the winter.
If there is any room left over I will use it as a work shop and equipment maintenance area.
So what type of floor covering? At the moment I am not concerned about cost so much as something that will meet the very diverse 'heavy stuff on dollies with casters', 1000lb tractor with chains on the rear wheels, car on wheel dollies, be resistant to oil and other stuff that will be spilled on it, reasonably light colored to minimize the amount of lighting that will need to be installed, etc.
If someone would like to offer suggestions to this miracle flooring I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Arvid
