I picked up a Milwaukee V28 bandsaw and hammer drill years ago, which came with 3x batteries. Of course, the batteries died stopped holding a charge some time ago, and rebuilding the packs wasn't feasible. I looked at simply buying some new M28 batteries, but just couldn't stomach the $100 each price....especially considering you could find a new M18 bandsaw for not much more than the cost of a couple batteries. Plus, I'm already heavily invested in M18 battery packs, so I've been keeping my eye out for an M18 bandsaw.

As luck would have it, stopped at one of the local pawn shops and they had 2x M28 batteries and a charger for $90....couldn't be happier.

Now it's time to see how long the batteries hold up!

I'm sure you can, but if I do go with a table, I'll probably end up building one for a 6230 deep cut corded Milwaukee I recently picked up.
