Portland International Raceway swap. Early obstruction wrench "special"...1 1/4" on the one side is quite a bit larger than the industry standard size.

I missed a 3/4" drive tool set on E/b the other day because I was on a Cruise ship and had bad internet.
It had 2 extensions for my tool cabinet. The T17X and the T8X both I need to complete this cabinet

So I'm still on the hunt. And the T11 valve grinder is one I've not seen yet either
I have a 1930s Blackhawk 3/4” drive set. It is in the shed, so fairly difficult to access. I know the ratchet is Plomb, but if I remember correctly everything else is Blackhawk. Do you want me to check it?

I spoke with the owner, He didn't know that there was a piece of it missing. Tha rear of the handle unscrews to extend the length of the ratchet. He still got good $$$ for the bunch of tools.

And YES I'm scratching my head wondering where Josh found that great sign

Just secured this sign should be here later this week. The sign is 32x24 painted metal with edge flanges. Now i really need to find the 4 ratchets to hang on it. Very cool graphics super happy to add this to the collection. original_aff80fc3-5b93-490e-9587-8e941c5b030a_Screenshot_20230414-192732.jpg
You must be reasonably close to me. I saw that the lady selling this went to Marketplace looking to sell the sign. I'm glad someone here ended up with it.

Yep. You're a little over 3 hours from me. I thought for sure yours was the same one in our neck of the woods. Believe it or not, I know where a 3rd one of these lives but the price is very steep. The only thing is that the condition is the best I've seen of this display.

Yes, mind boggling.

1950 catalog shows how the two Length Ratchet works. Site won't let me upload a pic right now.

You have the larger version and it looks great. I still have a little ways to go on my smaller version. I need:

Handles
T5, T13, T60

Socket #s
16, 20, 14, 19, 25, 30, 18

The fleas have been horrible so far. I don't expect any change in luck this season. I also need the smaller version of the merchandiser topper. I'm sure hens teeth will be easier to find. I may have to make my own whenever I get finished with my spring house list.
I may have a couple of the sockets you are looking for. I'll check it out for you

I have another piece to add to my growing Blackhawk corner. Joshotto turned loose of these Porto power case

1.jpg5.jpg

With a little love and the help of my sign painter we were able to turn it into this

I have the correct parts to fill this case so my next project is polishing up these

For now the resting place for this case is here

I got my Chev tool board ready to go back into the BPG

IMG_2680.JPG

There is a story to tell about this project.
when I picked up this tool board I didn't study it I just put in the BPG after seeing it was a Chevrolet board I started doing some research on it to know what tools were to be hung on it. I found a picture of the tool board. I printed it and started collecting the tools by the numbers on the picture. Now 2 years later I have collected all but a couple of the tools so I took my tool board to the shop to design the missing tool holders. That is when I discovered that the picture of a chevrolet tool board was not the same as my board.
The sign in the center of the board says "Tools for use on Chevrolet cars" the picture is a board that says "tools for use on 409 chevrolet cars.
Some of the tools are the same and some are the same shape with different sized sockets attached .
I've cleaned up and added the tools on the board after making the hangers for them. I will continue looking for the correct tools to hang but in the meantime the tool board looks almost complete.

You are one of the few that has made the light work again.
Very nice. How about some info on how you managed that.
The jack had the handle but was missing the switch and battery holder, and it had the cover on the pump with no lense or light. I'm a machinist and I made all the parts that were missing. Its not original but it works.
