Anyone know any info on a BH T-Handle 1/2” drive Socket Driver?

Stamped Blackhawk No. 941 “Pat Pend” has a grease port midway on the knurled (spinning) handle.

I can’t seem to place it in any Blackhawk catalog.

Here are pictures...

I’ve been hunting on the Interweb and found no results, no catalog match not even patent information.

The Blackhawk mark stamp looks similar to 1920’s - 1930’s.

If anyone has any information, please chime in. [emoji1303]

Not a grease port, but the set bearing that keeps handle centered

Thanks for the information and Oldtuleguy for clarifying.

Curious how you found the picture as I just spent a good hour hunting?

Well built & quality tool and the oldest Blackhawk I’ve found to date.

Sticker, alas is long gone. Had 29 pieces when I got it. Everything it came with is early lock on, I think 1931 or so. Here it is with some extra obstruction handles, beaker bars, .....

Yes it is! And then pair it up with the nugget sockets and free wheeling ratchet also listed on the bay..

Found a nice cudgel today at the flea market. For Ford front and center main bearing bolts. The "socket" welded on the end of the handle is 2" tall. The 9/16" square service opening, which was milled and machined, is only 13/16" deep. That leaves 1-3/16" of solid steel. You can begin to see why it weighs just over 2 lbs! The handle is 14" long.

ALL: i've got more than a few old sockets with the criss crossed hash marks and some have a # and some have nothing. are these maybe Blackhawk sockets? i'll post pictures if this might be the right thread or if one of you that might have another thread for me to post them on do tell.

thanks

DON: I think I recall seeing a nicer Blackhawk torpedo toolbox sitting on a shelf in your PARTY GARAGE. if I recall yours is not restored and in great shape or did you restore it? are you missing any tools in that set you have with it?

Olson: thanks for the quick reply. i'm guessing the ones i'm mentioning are maybe 1920's or so and not sure when SK started, but wasn't it after WWII? i'll try to post a few pictures soon and not SOME DAY.

cheers

Sounds good. They wouldn't be SK being that early.

Sk started selling branded tools around 1930, but made them for other companies before that
