I’m not really a Blackhawk collector, but I brought home a few pieces today. A 9209 cross bar, a 9202 breaker bar, a 9210 extension, and an unmarked 3/8” hinge handle. Lemme know if any of you Blackhawk guys need them...

I recently found what I believe to be a 1940 Blackhawk 4 ton jack. The locking knob is gone. How do I fix this jack???? It is to cool to scrap!

Here’s a pair of Blackhawk pieces I picked up today. I just sent a package off to a Blackhawk collector yesterday. Otherwise, I’d have included these. I’ve never found a pair of Blackhawk pliers before.

I spotted an interesting spinner at a sale Friday. I was able to read "Blackhawk", so I bought it. It is a 5104 4-way rim wrench. It is fully operational, with all of the moving pieces turning or sliding freely.

Nice find, Jock. I used to have the earlier version, which had no model number. They called it the 4-in-1 Universal Rim Wrench. I traded it to Twertsy with a bunch of other early oddball Blackhawk wrenches. It was a very heavy, sturdy wrench as I recall, and the "moving pieces" (the way you had to slide it in or out to rotate and lock or unlock the socket joint) was nifty. I posted a whole bunch of photos somewhere but I can't seem to find them. It may have been in another thread, because there is another 4-way very similar. Maybe Bog, but I searched that thread and couldn'f find them there, either.

Found them. Finally. Sheesh. I was wrong. It did also have the 5104 part number...

Are all the Blackhawk branded tools made in USA?

Found this box locally, seems pretty modern, doesn't have the cool graphics or badges of the vintage Blackhawk on here.

Still good box and tools? This was apparently a "mechanics set" that included the tools on tops since it appears to be a molded plastic fitted tray.

Nice set Damon. Blackhawk sold out to new britain back in the 50s. The tools you have look like new britain type tools. Should be a good usable set.

Yes maybe so. I don't really collect anything that late. Litton I think owned them as well.

Here are a couple of transitional ratchets from mid to late 50s

I came across this box and a few tools a couple of days ago. I was afraid they'd be too new to post in this forum, but I'll go ahead and indulge in posting some photos. Maybe they're a little older than I'd thought.

The box is obviously from the Litton-New Britain era :) and I assume the tools probably are too.

The ratchet is one that I found last year, but it seems like it might be about the same vintage. I know it is from after 1961, based on the patent dates.

I'll have to read up on the Litton/New Britain timeline, I guess.
