Okay, maybe it's just my prudish monetary sensibilities speaking, but I will never understand how someone can spend more money on a place to showcase a car than on the car itself. Maybe if there was a '71 Hemi 'Cuda Convertible on the turntable, but a Viper?

I must say that is a nice place but I would take many garages on this forum over that one. I would rather have a place I can work in and is functional instead of a place were you stand and just look at something. A lot of people with that kind of money really miss out on the most enjoyable thing, working on your car. I bet the only thing he knows how to turn is a steering wheel:willy_nil

Oh, like anyone on the board here has room to say "overkill" when talking about a garage

No kidding!! :bounce: I bet most of the garages here have been accused of that !

I'm just glad it's a Viper on that turntable... it makes me thing of a fun vehicle we had to deal with a while back in at work.

It was a late-model SUV with dynamic stability control, traction control, roll-over prevention system, etc, etc. Brand new.

It showed up with 312 miles on it, and 4 different trouble codes were set that would NOT clear. All of them related to the stability systems. Took us a while to figure out... we ended up pulling the connectors on all the modules, the yaw sensor, etc, disconnecting the battery, and letting it sit overnight.

Moral of the story: 8 hours spent at a car show spinning on a turn table will REALLY mess with a yaw sensor. The stability system was all kinds of screwed up.

So how do you overcome these issues when transporting or towing such vehicles?

Going around the occasional corner is a bit different from spinning the vehicle for 10 straight hours.
