About three years ago a buddy asked me to keep an eye out for a vise for him at the garage sales I frequent. This was before I was on Garage Journal and you guys gave me a vise addiction. Picked up a decent size USA vise for $20, let him have it for $25. Stopped by his place today and wanted to look at it since I had no idea what I had sold him. Turned out is was a nice Yost 31C combination vise. Offered him $50 for it and another vise but no go :(. Now he's looked it up and see that they are about $400 new too LOL.

Yost vises are certainly well made but for some reason they just don't command alot of money and I don't know why. This one I picked up for $35 and sold it on Ebay for $75. A Wilton equalivent would have gone for 2-3 times that.

Well I feel a little a better now LOL. The reason I stopped by his place yesterday was he was giving me a Weider home gym he no longer wanted. Put it on Craigslist at 9 AM this morning and had two guys interested within hours, sold it for $110 by 3 PM.
