While we're on the subject of spark, I know I may be getting deep down in the weeds here but probably the biggest improvement to the ignition system when I was racing and working with boosted engines was the addition of a MSD ignition module. This was a noticeable addition it keeping the fire lit.
In fact, I had one box fail on me just prior to a club rod run so I had to remove it to send it out for repairs. I put the car back and run it on the standard ignition module and coil and it was definitely a seat of the pants feel difference. Having that extended duration spark really ensured a full burn of the combustible mixture.

There is only one company (that I'm aware of) that makes an upgraded coil for this car/engine since they are coil on plug or more descriptively coil as plug wire type, here is the upgraded one:
