Hello all my fellow GJ members!

I would like to share my newest project with you all...

I recently developed my first Weekend Crafter Pack, a kit designed to encourage others to get their hands dirty and build a personalized coffee table with a budget in mind and minimal tools required. Perfect for anyone who is looking for a fun weekend project. Easily doable while following a few simple steps and working at a casual pace.

Here's what you're required to do:
- Buy a standard 10ft long piece of 2x8" lumber at your preferred lumber supply
- Cut that piece in half (or have the lumber supply cut it for you)
- Stain and finish the wood to your preferences
- Use the supplied brackets and hardware to secure the two pieces together to create your new table top
- Drill a hole on each corner and use the supplied hardware to bolt the table legs to the top
- Stand back and enjoy your new table!

What you just built is a clean and simple coffee table that is rock solid and unique to you, all for well under $200.

You are bound to feel a sense of pride and satisfaction when you are complete, because the act of building is a very rewarding experience. Personally, I'm totally hooked on that feeling, and this is my attempt to help others share that feeling as well.

Whether you're a first time DIY'er, master craftsman or anywhere in between, this kit is suitable for all skill levels!

If you like this concept and want to learn more, you can view this kit in my Etsy store at www.Etsy.com/shop/MikeyGaumann

I will be creating a step-by-step guide on how to build the table below (coming soon)

I also have several other Crafter Packs in the works, so if this is not really your personal style, stay tuned!

Here's what you get:

Several powder coated color options to choose from:

And with a little bit of work, you could have this!

Thanks for looking

While I don't care for that style of leg, I do like your idea. I've always liked a stained wood with metal accents.

What's the weight capacity on the legs? Could this be used as a bench?

Thanks man and the legs are very sturdy. This could totally be used as a bench. My friend and I were both sitting on it the other day and we're 150 each, it didn't budge
