Lightning struck again and the great Tool Overlords have spoken, you heard it first on the GJ not once, not twice, but three times...
I am at most times lucky to find just one example, but three examples are kind of rare in my book.

Funny thing about it, but the man selling me these vintage screwdrivers told to me about the Wiremold co., small world indeed! I get the feeling from touching these very old examples that they are made out of some kind of Bakelite material, but that is a guess on my part.

Because the Company History is so very rich in information, please be sure and see the links for a more year by year synopsis. (Below is just a very short timeline).
The Wiremold Company located at 60 Woodlawn Street West Hartford, Connecticut 06110 (makers of electrical products).

1900- Daniel E. Murphy buys the Richmondt electric wire conduit co. and he puts his son, D. Hayes murphy in charge of it.
1926-The company is renamed the Wiremold Co.
1947- The plugmold line debuts. (Be sure and look at the advertisement on the back of the screwdrivers).
2000- In a 770 million deal the company is sold to Legrand SA of France.
