I kind of think you had to earn the award, people here are touchy (rightfully so) about conferring it upon yourself. A "score" is nice, but "you *****" are in a whole 'nother realm usually. I've given out two or three.

A you **** thread is not needed.

There are plenty of threads in which to post new aquisitions, scores, buys, etc.. It is entirely up to the board members viewing your thread to determine if your score if worthy of a "you ****".

On the other hand, by automatically posting an item in a you **** thread you are removing the board member's opinions on your item. You may think you got a great score but, others may not. There has never been self sucking or self praise here. You post what you acquired, how you acquired it, and let the members opinions roll with the flow. You may think you **** but, others may think that you're just holding something in your mouth.

Exactly. No self *****. If you think you rank up high enough to get a "YOU ****", it has to go before the Board (members) and in doing so, the members will decide if you warrant a "you ****" or not.

Self *****, although it would keep most males from leaving the house ain't allowed.
