Man i hate those bolt and block battery terminals on atv jetski batteries.
Does anyone have any ideas i always am losing the block or bolt even using tape to hold it.

Maybe a differant connector , or a stud insead of the bolt and a wing nut , or i have even thought of making the cable u shaped by filing part of the round connector off to make a u

thanks brent

I don't know their name though I have them on every vehicle.
The quick connects that winches use.
Permamount to the battery and put the connector in line.

Funny but I just figured out a fix for this last week for motorcycle battery terminals which I assume are the same.
The fix: When you finally wrestle the battery bolt into the elusive square nut, squeeze some silicone sealer under the nut and it will always be retained in that position.
You're welcome.

Those are high impact vehicles.
Make sure whatever you replace it with can take the beating.

I'm thinking of lengthening the battery cables by a foot or so , then I can hook up the terminals with the battery on top of the engine, then place it in it's tray . would be a lot easier than having to put it in the tray and then fumble with the cables
