I'm in Woodbridge, I'd be happy to help if you want me to buy/order something from my driver.

I'm surprised you don't see more Indy tool trucks, our mac guy is half way there by selling Milwaukee stuff instead of pushing Mac/Dewalt.

He can gradually replace the Mac hand tools with other brands like Proto, SK, etc. Of course it'd be on his dime, but I guess he can set up financing for his customers, so they can have accounts and get the tools right away and then he gets his money right away.

An independent tool truck would probably be profitable if it's stocked well and managed well.

Good luck with finding a Mac dealer. They seem to come and go like the wind in the Manchester area. There used to be a dealer that stopped at the Pep Boys on Spencer Street, but that was years ago. Might want to stop and ask them.

Typically I see Snappy trucks and the occasional matco truck. The only Cornwell dealer I knew retired decades ago and he lived in tolland.

F Mac, haven't seen a truck in years, I have stuff that need warranty.I know I can send it in but that's not what I signed up for. Matco is sketchy, Snap On or GTFO!

In 10 years I've had 4 mac guys, my current one being the best and actually established. I don't buy a ton but usually its out of the sales flyer.

My mac guy got permission to come to our shop. Great dealer with awesome deals. They seem to be adding more dealers. Just call mac corporate and ask for a dealer close to you.

Normally just lurk here, but figured I'd post since I have a MAC guy local and am in central CT. I work at a dealer on Connecticut Blvd in East Hartford and our MAC dealer is here every Tuesday. You'll see his truck on Governor St usually in back of all the dealers.
