What brand thermal underwear do you recommend? Warm and not expensive.

May have posted in wrong place please forgive and move if needed. Thanks

Chili Peppers, get mine at Dunham Sports. Not too expensive and thinner than most. I like them because they don't bunch up and feel like I'm wearing a diaper:)

I prefer wool or silk. Poly can stink. Cotton gets cold when wet.

Walmart has a line of silk ones. They dont last as long as the good ones but they do the job for one, maybe two seasons. Silk is the way to go for sure

If it is that cold and you need thermals, I would just wear insulated bib overalls. That is what I wear out in shop or when I work in the field.

Check Targer. Champion has some in there C9 line. Wool blend that do pretty well, thought I'm going to look into the silk ones at Walmart.

If wind is involved-- as in motorcycle-- forget thermals..and buy good wind/rain proof gear with full zip out liners. If you are still cold- spend some more and get heated gear- gloves and vest.
I have a bit ******* in gear....but I'm not cold when I ride anymore-(I ride pretty much all winter, unless there is alot of ice or rain).
I had used the extreme cold thermals from Wal Mart for two years...and still froze (riding like the Michelin man all covered up untill I bought good gear).

i tend to go for North Face base layers as there breathable etc, they work really well, and they dry quick
