Anybody use the Thermocore brand Mini splits?

Looking at heating my 38x40 garage in the PNW garage has 16 Ft ceilings. It gets down to 25 at times in the winter and close to 90 in summer time.. Debating weather or not a Mini spilt is the right choice for my situation... Any thoughts?

They state their remotes wont allow anything lower than a 62 degree temp setting

Was hoping the Honeywell D6 thermostat would be adaptable.

heat pumps are not designed for efficiently raising temp in a space, they are most efficient if left at a somewhat constant temp. Cooling would be just fine with a properly sized mini split, heat can be more troublesome. I cannot comment on the brand.

Never used them, but we have a Daikin brand minisplit in the garage. I can set the temp as low as 50 deg F. It works great at heating my space, and the ability to rapidly change temps compared to radiant heat is really nice.
