I'm installing a Carrier 2H/2C 5 ton system and I would like to use my old thermostats that are 1H/1C but I can't find any information about whether this is ok. I'm also installing the Honeywell HZ322 panel etc for 2-3 zones in my house. Do the thermostats have to be 2H/2C too or can I use old ones from my old system?

I believe so, I just installed a Honeywell FocusPro 5000, TH5220D1003 for a 2H/1C and it was a simple install. The stat is basic and does 2H/2C also.
