Yes, that's a classic jack design at a reasonable price. If it isn't totally worn at the pivot points, I'd probably pay $100 for it.

No, Off-topic slightly, but
these jacks go for $1000s restored
that numbnuts pseudo-sales copy, in print or in person, is usually used on way overpriced cars, parts and tools and torques me for some reason. My answer is, "Then, by all means, you better restore it and keep the thousands yourself. I just wouldn't feel right about making that much profit off you."

Maybe, it works on some potential buyers, but when I see it, I doubt the seller and the item and it is more likely to make me walk than to buy.

I don't know about thousands, but looks like a good $100 jack, even if it turned out to be parts.

I like a few things about this jack. This one looks like a nice original example that has been kept indoors. It also looks to be complete, has a key for a possible operable lock-out knob feature, and may even have an operable light system minus the light lens.

The nicer examples that I've seen of these all seem to originate on the West coast. I think the climate in that area plays a big part in preserving them.

With this vintage jack, you would have to consider that the hydraulic unit will need rebuilding. But if this jack was in my area, the seller would already have my money. :D

Jack that reminds me of the time I restored a old farm tractor. I bought it for something like $1000, spent $2000 restoring it and sold it for $3000.:lol_hitti

Yep, been there, done that too. Now, if I'm going to restore something, it's for my own use or as a gift to a friend, etc.

I'd like to blow some time and effort on that jack though. :)
