You're correct, they DO look like the Craftsman rails, and in all probability, probably are. What I mean by that is without doing any research, there is one manufacturer of those that simply brands some of their products (in this case socket rails) as Craftsman, and another batch as the ones you see offered here, and so on, and so on.

Most of the domestic made toolboxes are made by Waterloo and that does include the Craftsman's.

I believe vim makes them for everyone else, they are also identical to the sk's only green of course

Yup... just like SK's. Only now Craftsman has a variant out that when you twist the socket (and the square retainer with the ball in it) the ball releases and the socket comes right off. Pretty cool, but not at $19.99 per clip.

Just FYI... I was looking for the ones that I'm talking about (just saw them in the store, they looked like a new release) and in my search I found these, but they are not the same thing:

Don't look too bad, though. I'd like to see them in the flesh...er... plastic.

I can see those things snapping off. I like the Craftsman regular plastic ones. Relatively cheap...and they work.

I like the metal clip ones... even cheaper (right not .50 each at HF :shocking: ) and they work just fine for me. :bounce:
