The last item today is a item that is needed by many Mini-Lathe users.
Its a little attachment for the Quick Change Tool post that allows Milling on the Lathe.
Made from a tube, some bearings ,a few clips, A rod and a spindle.
It allows cutting of D-Shafts and Keyways. Simply insert a Mill, Attach any Cordless or Corded Drill and away you go!

Good job on the build but a drill chuck is not suitable for milling/side loads. And if the chuck is a taper mount it can very easily get knocked loose side milling. Drill chucks don't have great/low runout & high runout contributes to killing endmills. And I'm assuming it's made with just radial bearings? Also not good for side loads.

That's why milling with a drill press is usually not a good idea. But then again it is for a mini lathe so can't take heavy cuts. For light duty I suppose may be ok. But please be careful & cautious of a run away flying chuck! I have seen people make these for cross drilling & they work great for that. But it's recommended to make some sort of spindle lock when doing so.
