Thexton / Thexton Mfg. Co., 6539 Cecilia Circle, Edina, MN 55439 (previously 7685 Parklawn Ave., PO Box 35008, Minneapolis, MN 55435)(7019 Oxford St., Minneapolis, MN 55426 - 1976) / https://www.thexton.com/ / est. 1907 / specialty automotive tools / https://www.thexton.com/history.php /
The company's website has a pretty good write-up of their history.
Thexton's 2020 catalog is available for download at their website.
Thexton is an old company that always tried to stay ahead of the curve with innovative "fix it" products and specialty automotive tools that saved time and headaches.
As I recall, they were one of the first companies that offered a T-15 "Torx" screwdriver when G.M. (in their infinite wisdom) determined that the tried-and-true Phillips screw wasn't any longer suitable for mounting headlight rims to the front ends of automobiles.
It was easy to write an order, as their prepaid freight minimum was only a few hundred bucks - it didn't take a lot of battery and anti-freeze testers to add up to a minimum order.
Here are a few catalog pages from their 1976 catalog. When I get the rest of the catalog scanned, I'll see it gets uploaded at the ITCL and made available for download.
