Thick wall vent thimble

When I look for wall thimbles, they all seem to accommodate up to a 7" wall - I am brick, sheathing, 2x6 stud (filled with blown-in insulation) and plywood - so about 9.5" or so, I think. How do you work that out? Do I extend the sheet metal between the thimble halves or what?

Sorry - horizontal exhaust duct from a forced air garage heater - I don't have one yet, but I am assuming it is either a 3" or 4" duct.

I was just looking online at vent kits, etc and looking at thimbles - they all seem to be 7" - I haven't seen any for a thicker wall.

Most of the thimbles I've seen allow you to extend the wall thickness with either sheetmetal or the proper sized pipe, it will be noted in the installation instructions if allowed.
