Building shop 26x38x16' high. Going to pour monolithic slab and need to go 12" wide 18" deep on footings, but not sure on footing/thickened slab for interior wall. Just wanting some input. Will be building interior wall outside of side plans, not to be inspected, but wondering what is standard or recommended? Will be building 16' interior wall above.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

The building is stick built. The interior wall is just to be made of 2x4s, similar to a house. It will need to support a floor but not heavy equipment or anything.

If you were running beams across the foundation, I would try to locate the wall over one, or scooch (technical term) a beam around to go under it. It's supporting a floor above, so it will be taking some of whatever load does go up there down to the foundation.
