Thin coveralls with a hoodie?

Bit of a unique request, but looking for recommendations for coveralls that have a built in hood.

In particular I don't need anything warm or thick; I use the overalls to work under cars and without a hood dirt/oil just ends up in my hair. The stop gap has been to wear a hoodie underneath or to wear a hat, but it sure would be nice if it were all one unit.

Not a hoodie, but I wear a welders beanie for those situations, and when wire wheeling/grinding. They're relatively thin and low profile.

I've always thought a bump cap would be nice for under vehicles but I've never really found where to buy them or what's good.

Search them up at Grainger. Looks like $70 will get you a 6 pack.

They definitely aren't heavy duty though, so depending on how often you are under a car, that option may get expensive.

Look for Yukirtiq on Amazon.

Never used that one, but I found it searching for boiler suit. That’s what we called them at work. I had to dress fairly nice on some site visits, but inevitably somebody wanted me to look at something in a greasy or dusty space. I’d pull a similar suit on and kept my clothes and hair presentable for the next meeting.

Tyvek isn’t comfortable at all. Especially the hoodie area. Plus they’re expensive and don’t last all that long. They rip easily. I’ve spent plenty of months in Tyvek suits.

Something to think about is the safety officers concern at the lack of you peripheral vision while wearing a hoodie.

I know a guy who was cited for this.

I hate hoodies. Dirt and rust get trapped in the hood and when I stand up work it's way down to the crack of my ****. Then people tend to stare and make comments when I try to dislodge the offending particles.
A welding cap is best.

When I was working as a lube and tire guy, I got tired of bumping my head on things while working under cars on the lift. I bought a couple of official issue US Navy blue watch caps. Those wool knit caps stayed put on my head and cushioned it from bumps.
