hey guys, nice forum I found some great info so far. I'm trying to seal up my 16x7 Clopay garage door. It already has the rubber molding seal on the outside (sides/top) and U-shaped weatherseal on the bottom of the door. Even though the seals sit flush against the door on the outside, I can still feel air leaks on the inside (mainly along the sides). So I just ordered the brush seals from Summit Racing and will install those on the inside when they arrive.
However, my question concerns gaps between the interlocking door section panels in which I can see daylight coming through (see attached pics). So of course these are the main areas I feel the cold air coming through.
has anyone tried the V-flex sealing strips and if so did it help out? Seems expensive though: http://garagedoorpartsusa.com/garag...-garage-door-section-sealing-strip-p-446.html
or as an alternative, would this basic V-shaped seal work?

I would think I only need a few inches to seal that gap near the side/edge of the door, rather than sealing it across the entire 16 foot length of each panel seam. Some of the other panel seams are like this too on the sides, but my photo with the daylight showing is the worst one. Anyone else try this? Thanks!
