Thinking of building stages

I'm in the process of purchasing a new home. It sits on just under 2 acres. The first thing that needs to be done Is a shed. I'm back on forth on size still. I think a 30x40 may be too much. I will only have 1 vehicle parked in there and there is already a 14x20 shed on the property. I'm leaning towards a 28x34 but trying to stay cost effective. Leaning towards a but 16x8 door but undecided on ceiling height. I would like to be said and done with concrete and finished inside for under 14k doing the work myself with help.

The next problem is where to put it. I wanted to put it in front of the original shed but don't really have room due to fuel tank and being right on property line. My second thought was on the left side of property where the pines in the pic are and eventually move the smaller shed over and connect it off the back like a lean-to. I really hate to cut down the pines tho, but eventually plan on planting an arborvitae border around the whole property

I also need a place to park a 26ft camper and would like to have that by the shed if possible

30x40 sounds just right for a 26' camper. Or, you could have a lean-to-open-roofed area, I'd go about 12' wide for your 8'6" wide camper.

I would investigate the location of your septic field (if present) as that drives a lot of planning. You can't drive over the tanks, or build on the drainfield.

I think your budget is too lean. A metal-skinned non-insulated pole structure w/o concrete might come close, but add concrete and any kind of interior finishing and I think you could easily blow the estimate to double that.

Don't ask.
Propane tanks are easy and not expensive to move, but it needs to be accessible. Assume your new building will have a driveway.
30x40 is big for parking one vehicle. Is about right for working on one vehicle at a time.

You've got the space, build as large as you can afford, don't worry it will get filled up sooner than later.

I've heard that building in increments of 12ft seem to run a bit cleaper? Any truth to this?

And also what typically runs cheaper, garage or shed? My house is brick so I think tin will look better then siding
