Just picked these up this afternoon. Thinking I'll keep the Columbian 504 1/2 and sell the Fuller Vise.

Make me an offer... I hadn't really thought of a price Just yet... My thoughts right now are to go through it and give it a fresh greasing before I list it.

Nice vices. Around here that all would have cost over 500 bucks easy.

$500?!?! For what? Around here that's less than $100. The columbian would sell for $40-$60. The fuller vise maybe $20-$30. And the post vise with the homemade spring and mounting bracket probably wouldn't sell for more than $20. If it sold at all. It's crazy how the prices differ from other parts of the country.

Indeed it's crazy how prices vary... talking with a guy in Arizona and he gets $150 - $250 for working forge blowers. Nothing is the same across the board when it comes to prices.... Here I have a time getting $100 for one working. The post vise is complete "original spring" and includes the original Columbian logo mounting bracket. Last post vise I sold brought $285 EASY and was a common found model!

Well like we've said it's regional... can vary by state and location. Most of the time it's a simple issue of a dealer wanting to buy at wholesale prices so they can sell for 5x what they paid. Example... I had a restored Wilton 600 (it had new jaws from Kevin Scott installed). One guy near me said it wasn't worth more than $150 yet he priced an unfinished vise to me for $550???
