Then maybe you should watch it because the subject was, for the most part, not about SO quality but their business practices and not just with the customer. I can't verify everything he said but he was worth hearing out. Some of it is pretty well known.I didn't watch 1 second of it, but everything man has ever made is great or trash depending on one's point of view.
Many years ago I repaired televisions. People always asked which one is the best. One lady I said that's like asking what's the best car? She looked at me like I was stupid saying "everyone knows that!!! It's Volvo!". [emoji3]

I couldn't find any outright lies. In fact almost everything in there is bare truth. I do have a disagreement with the warranty though. I've never had a problem with warranty. Now that I no longer see the Snap-on truck, I just call The company and they send a new tool. So far they have never asked me to send the broken one in. No one makes tools that never break and Snap-on is not always the best, but their warranty is. At least now that Sears is no longer around.
I think a lot of what he says in the video is either opinion, anecdotal, or just given as fact without the evidence backing it up. Some of it is true though, or at least common sense.
Gripes about price and quality going down hill are basically opinion. Price is high for sure, but as others have said, it's up to everyone on their own to decide value on what they're buying. Quality has maybe gone down hill, who knows, but there's certainly no evidence in that video to prove it, other than a couple Google Images of broken SO tools.
I'd also say things like the level of service from the dealer, how warranties are handled, etc. is fairly anecdotal. There was some factual info about the wording of SO's warranty policy, but mostly it's just examples of people being given the run around. Not good to hear, but also not really avoidable in at least some cases.
One thing he said as fact that kind of jumped out as me was "most of their current tools are made in China". Most as in what? Most by volume of tools? Most dollar value? Most distinct part numbers? I'd say if you're going to throw things like that around as fact, you need some data to back it up, a lot more than a couple screenshots of Chinese-made hammers and electronics. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but that was certainly a big point to throw out without any context.
I do agree though that the tool truck / dealer model is garbage for the dealer, and made to be too heavily weighted in SO's favor. And it's probably common sense to criticize some things, like their cordless power tool line. But again, that's kind of opinion, and something people can easily decide for themselves.
Overall, for 20 minutes of rambling, I was expecting more facts and evidence to be presented than screenshots of those laughable HF "Comapre to Snap On!!!!" ads.
I watched the video, didn't read the comments. Cant wait to hear "10 reasons why Harbor Freight *****"
The Bear is just a good ole HF fanboy like Real Tool Review preaching to guys that have never been on a tool truck. Its just one of those weird, strictly American HF things always comparing themselves to Snap-on
Never heard of Princess Auto comparing their products to tool truck brands. There also could be a list of "10 differences between HF and Princess Auto selling cheap tools"
I hate that freaking bear, he is a complete *****.

Let your money do the talking if you do not like any tool company (insert name here) then buy something from another tool company.
The only people ive met that complain about SO are the ones that cant afford it.
I don’t think many believe Snap-on is “3 times better” (by what metric anyway?) than a brand at one-third the price. Rather, they think Snap-on is incrementally better (and often best), and they are willing to pay a significant premium to own that. The people that spent triple the competitive price for a tool can't concede that it may not be 3 times better than some decent brand like Proto or Wright.
This guy does a bunch of different “reasons Why ***** *****” videos. I think for the most part they are meant to be funny. He has a “Reasons Why Milwaukee Tools *****”. But at the same time the guy/bear has several Milwaukee tool reviews videos singing their praises.
