I've called a few guys like that and politely let them know I'd be interested but at a much lower price if they have no luck selling and left my number or email. I've made some purchases that way,,,,,,,,and also talked to a few jerks!

It was advertised at Christmas that way to. The hawk shop here has one with a BB bottom that they want $2000 and they have had it for a year.

There was a top box over in Bozemon a couple of weeks ago that was a pretty good deal, a Mac box in Columbus about 8 months ago that was an okay deal, and at some point a 41 friction slide SO that wasn't a horrible deal but thats about it for the last year on the MT Craigslist. The only SO tool box deal I think I have seen that was remotely close to me was a Blue Classic 78 in a hawk shop for $1000.

Speed you can actually list the SO boxes that have come on on Montana CL That's proof how few get listed.
