Hi, I actually found this site by accident, googling info on radiant heat for a garage that I am finally getting started on.
A quick background...in the past, I have always had a nice shop to work out of (not my own) because I have worked in the automotive machine shop business for years. Kind of took it for granted to have equipment, hoists, compressors, lathes and mills as well as block, crank and cylinder head equipment available to use, but since switching gears into chemical sales, even the most basic equipment has become a luxury, so I finally bit the bullet and shuffled my mortgage around to build a shop. Plans call for a 30x30x12 high, slab on grade with a 12x30 carport off to one side, so we can keep our RV out of the UV rays and the ice and snow buildup. I want to get a 9000lb asymmetrical twin post from liftdirect, on the right side to work on my 351 powered SN95 mustang, and the left side will be for sleds and ATV projects, as well as engine work.
thanks in advance for the help and information.
cheers, Jeff
