A sell TOPTUL and from time to time I notice something interesting about their offerings and this is one of them and I thought I would share this with the board as I found it interesting.
TOPTUL offers sockets rails in SAE in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drive in 12 point only. They do not offer these in six point. So I asked them why since in the USA six point is much preferred to 12 point.
Their answer AIRCRAFT. Apparently there are a lot of 12 point SAE bolts used on aircraft worldwide. I thought that was interesting.
