WOW, Is there a way to flag this stuff with ebay on the basis it's dangerous , non compliant or whatever?
umm did you actually look at the seller profile? not only is there no disclaimer but the seller is located in tucson AZUnfortunately not, as long as they have some sort of disclaimer, or are based somewhere out of North America where the laws there hold no sway. I know I've built Suicide Boxes for specific purposes (tying 2 EU-series generators together, or doing an emergency shunt to get a live circuty to power up a dead one), but man, talk about danger island? I don't even like using them, bu... well... Yeesh.
Still loads for meMust be flagged, won't even load up anymore.
Weird. Won't load for me.Still loads for me
try a different browserWeird. Won't load for me.
HAHAHAHA, this one takes the cake. double 5-15p to 10-30r. someone gonna plug that into 2 different 120v circuits that are either on the same phase in the panel, so it wont work, or different phases and trip the breakers when the heating coil turns on.... just plain stupidity here.. Ebay really needs to take this **** down

If people give enough negative feedback (failure to deliver on time etc.) the company will be banned.WOW, Is there a way to flag this stuff with ebay on the basis it's dangerous , non compliant or whatever?
Yeah i read that one and forgot to touch on it... guy is a complete idiotLove it. To quote the seller: ‘You can plug in to 2 different Generators. A Generator and a Power inverter. Generator and a house. Power inverter and a wall outlet.’
Set aside the *why?* and the *covered by whose insurance?* questions, go ahead and do exactly that - plug one phase into one source, then plug the other phase into a second unsynchronized source. Watch with wonder and amazement as the phase to phase voltage rises and falls between 120 and 240 as the two sources sync then drift apart, and all your 240 loads fault out. What a great idea!
That seller is selling chaos on a stick.
I've seen people run welders off of them.HAHAHAHA, this one takes the cake. double 5-15p to 10-30r. someone gonna plug that into 2 different 120v circuits that are either on the same phase in the panel, so it wont work, or different phases and trip the breakers when the heating coil turns on.... just plain stupidity here.. I’ve seen people run power tools off a hundred feet of two strand barbed wire on a bet. Didn’t make it a good idea, or one you should leave unsupervised.I've seen people run welders off of them.
no, but it does point out there's potentially demand for them.I’ve seen people run power tools off a hundred feet of two strand barbed wire on a bet. Didn’t make it a good idea, or one you should leave unsupervised.
Huh?What is so scary wires would be covered made for 12 vdc not line voltage labeled for car stereo and marine
