First off....I can't wait to get this damn thing swapped out after we close on this property. I'm not too savvy with fuse boxes and just had a couple more questions.
Power comes in from the meter on the lower-left then loops up and goes into the main fuse on the left. (60 amp fuses by the way) I'm pretty sure that 240volt circuit that exits to the upper-right is the service line that then goes to the breaker panel in the basement. I say that because if you look at the black and red wires that come into the fuse panel in the lower-right, only the black is hooked to the fuse. The red and ground are connected to the same neutral. Does this look correct to you guys?
That's why I'm under the impression the line that goes into the house must be spliced together somewhere because it leaves the fuse panel as two black (one with red tape) but enters the breaker panel as a red and black.
Kinda beating a dead horse...just wanted to see if I understood this right.
