I have that box in red. Paid ~$150 during a C'man Club weekend. I really like the box, it's the only one in my setup that has ball-bearing slides. Kinda makes me want to swap out my other boxes that have friction slides - though, that probably won't ever happen.
I have a similar one with a different drawer layout. They use a plastic "catch" that can be removed if you don't move your box around and have to worry about the drawers drifting open. You can also trim the catch to offer less resistance. I think they're too stiff, but am able to remove them and so am very pleased with the box.
IM looking for a toolbox that can store all my tools for work, this one is okay I just wish i could get a 26" a little bigger, I got about $200 to spend, I got alot of tools I got 6 racks of 1/2" sockets, hammers, pry bars, different ratchets , sets of wrenches, pliers , etc. What do you think about this 26" it doesnt look like its going to fit all my tools in it.
I bought that for $150 a few weeks ago, and like it a lot. My only qualm is that the lid only has one support - the hinge isn't strong enough to prevent it from wobbling a bit.
Select 40" wide chests have gone as low as $250 recently. I'm sure that if you wait long enough, those promos will return.
My wife set me up with the 8 drawer version listed further down the page (plus the 5 drawer roll away and the intermediate chest) three years ago for Christmas. They have all held up super, but the top box could really use a second support like some other posters have already noted.
If I had it all to do over again, I would have added a few more dollars and gotten a 42" cabinet for a base - I have a handful of longer pry bars that wound up scattered around the garage.
