If I were selling it I would start at a price over $500 just to see if there were any takers. I would not pay any where near that much.

I think that vise was listed several months ago with a ridiculous price and I agree it is not worth anywhere near that. It may be big but it is in bad condition I would think no more than 100-150 max.

Who made it? Looks like I'd give $200, maybe a little more if it was better in person than the pics. It's still a 200 pound vise. If selling, Probly wouldn't be worth it to me to sell it for less than $400. Those don't turn up much out here...

Pretty sure it's a Prentiss. Looks like very good condition for its age. Easily worth $200. Maybe $400-500 to someone who really wants a Prentiss that size. More than that, he's going to be waiting a long time.

For the VISE . . . it's probably worth $200 to $500 depending on how badly you want a big vise like that, and costs to go retrieve.

However, for $800 . . . and . . Is this VICE worth 8 bills, it would have to include some "sweetener to the pot" with a Vice !! (see below)

I don't think that is bad at all. $800 for a large vise and a tractor with fork attachment. Seems like a good deal, just a strange combination of items. I wonder if the seller will consider separating them.

That it has been for sale for many months in a major metro area proves he is asking way too much. Good vises at good prices are gone the first weekend.
