I don't get it; people flock to his auctions like it's some kind of a privilege to buy from sunnystorm.

I think some people only buy from ebay, maybe they feel it's got some kind of protection or payment reasons... or don't know how to google to look up prices. It's just not snap on, I have seen craftsman tools brand new they end up costing the same or sometimes more than what sears sells it for. maybe some people really enjoy sitting at home waiting for boxes to come instead. They have no car? Maybe their car is broken and need to wait for tools like snap on ratchet to come from UPS/USPS. Yep, that must be it.

What the hell is a blind counterbore A counterbore is a counterbore whether it is in a blind hole or a thru hole. Either I have missed something in the last 35 years as a tool designer and a toolmaker or people just add a lot of fluff to things to make it sound like rocket science. A little OT but I remember one time the wife had a Kirby Sweeper demo guy give his speech and towards the end I asked him what was so "special" about a Kirby sweeper. He proceeded to tell me that if the house would ever burn down that the Kirby, although being a little nasty looking would be the only thing left. I asked him why and he stated because it has "Space Age" materials. It is made from Lexan and aircraft aluminum. The same thing that the Space Shuttle is made from. So if the Shuttle doesn't burn up, neither will the Kirby. He had added all kinds of fluff to try and make a sale.
