I don't get it; people flock to his auctions like it's some kind of a privilege to buy from sunnystorm.![]()
NEW SNAP ON Tools # S936 1/2" drive standard length, sealed head, high strength ratchet. About ten and five sixteenths inches long. Patented design features blind counterbores,
A counterbore is a counterbore whether it is in a blind hole or a thru hole. Either I have missed something in the last 35 years as a tool designer and a toolmaker or people just add a lot of fluff to things to make it sound like rocket science. A little OT but I remember one time the wife had a Kirby Sweeper demo guy give his speech and towards the end I asked him what was so "special" about a Kirby sweeper. He proceeded to tell me that if the house would ever burn down that the Kirby, although being a little nasty looking would be the only thing left.
I asked him why and he stated because it has "Space Age" materials. It is made from Lexan and aircraft aluminum. The same thing that the Space Shuttle is made from. So if the Shuttle doesn't burn up, neither will the Kirby.
He had added all kinds of fluff to try and make a sale.We were talking about this same auction yesterday and some of the members (me included) feel that he or others are helping him push up the price on his auctions.
