Bought a mystery box at an auction this week. Here's some of what was in it. Some I know, some I could use some help with.
Comments welcomed and encouraged. This isn't a drinking night is it???

#1 I really like this. Sun X-40 with Bakelite handle and scary cords

#2 Nice old Brookins Oil Can 1/4Gal

#3 Oil Seal Set.. yep I can read

#4 Bearings anyone? Old packages, not sure for what

#5 I feel like I know what this is but can't remember

#6 To me, this looks like a set of test plugs of some sort. Right/Wrong?

#7 Clueless on this one

#8 My $9 Wilton from another auction. Cleaned up and painted with the closest color I could find

#1 I have in my tool box. Bought it new for $33 or $35 from Sun Elec. salesman on truck, 50-51 years ago. #2 I have one like it, too. #3 A trasnsmission tailshaft tool to replace the driveshaf bushing and seal. #4 Front Wheel bearings and races #5 A shunt to use with electrical test. The battery cable is attached to the lug.

I've got my dad's old Sun timing light just like that, and yes, it has the scary cord too. neat finds!

I saw this timing light and remembered my dad still has one that works and some other Sun test equipment from the early '60's. I know this is an old thread but I couldn't resist.
