I have owned this tool for over 7 decades. It is Thomas & Betts part number #157N with a label on it "Do not use after December" and there was another label on it that fell off indicationg 1941. It was in a olive drab metal box with some terminals in it when it was given to me, however, due to a few moves I am not certain if I still have the box that it came in. The person that I got it was a friend of my fathers and had a warehouse of military surplus from the second world war. While they were talking business, I was wandering around the warehouse and came upon the stack of boxes, so I opened one. Just about that time, they were finished and came looking for me. I quickly tried to close the metal box, but I got caught. I appologized for opening it without permission, but Chester didn't think that my curiosity was bad, and offered the box to me. I said no, but he insisted, and you might say that this was my very first tool. MVC-004L.JPGMVC-006L.JPGMVC-007L.JPG
