The ones that aren't Crescent style or monkey wrench but may be an auto wrench except that they're a little too thick.
Anyone know when these last could have been made ?

Yep, known as a Ford wrench or Auto wrench. Originally supplied with early Fords to adjust water pump packing.
I have 2 big Diamonds, one has had the handle torched off at about 8", and another smaller one. They are the cats *** for hydraulic fittings...sort of a one size fits all angle wrench.
Also useful for square bolts & nuts, something I encounter on a regular basis, working on old farm machinery.
