Wanting to do some rear end work on my mustang and possible drop the engin with k member attached vs pulling it from the top. My question is what has anyone done to support these things when the car is on the lift? I was looking at the hydralic lift tables from hf, but was curious what others have done.

The car will be on the lift. I wanted to support the engine and k member on something and just raise the car.

Gotcha... I usually use a dolly that supports the engine and ******. Couple of 2x4s and casters

At the shop we made like a big pallet on casters. Lower the car onto the pallet unhook everything lift car up off the motor.

At work we put a pallet on top of a heavy moving dolly and let the engine, and subframe sit on that
