What size do you use most? The PWZ0s have a 1.5" jaw capacity, seems to be more than enough for general automotive use, but looking for real worl experience with the 3 sizes. thanks.

It's these..

I only have the 2 bigger sizes and while the opening seems big enough sometimes the extra handles length is helpful when you have something really tight/need more force to break it loose, I use them the most doing alignments.

Edit: the nicest thing I like about them is that you don't have to squeeze the handles to hold on to the fastener, the harder you push/pull in the right direction the tighter it grips

I have a one and a two, like both of them. The two is big. I wish I would have bought more of them, I got them for 25 bucks each on a dealer mistake.

The 2 looks good, how big is the 3? Looks freaking huge,a nd the price is a big jump. I think the 2 might be a good compromise.

How do they compare to Channellock parrot beak style nutbusters (if you have used them)

Look for bahco swedish style pipe wrenches for potentially better price than snap on markup. Bahco invented that style wrench and the product snap on sells is an exact copy of design, just rebranded.

I have the 0, 1, 2 and 3. The 3 is huge, like 22" huge. Lots of grip and lots of leverage potential. The 0 and 1 or 2 are great for general purpose auto and mechanical use like tie rods, sleeves, sway bar links, studs, piping, rounded off drain plugs or fittings and really anything that needs turned but's happy where it's at. The 3 is for when it's really fucked, it's the equivlent of calling in a "broken arrow" airstrike on whatever you're working on. You could drive a post into the ground and spin the planet with it.

I have the pwz2, I like it alot. Used it working on large bolts and hydraulic fittings(1-2"). I've used the 3's several times, they're complete overkill for anything automotive. The 0 is too small for anything I would do. I would get a 1 or 2, or preferably both.

I have the 1 and 2 use the 1 the most for sure. The jaws do wear but snap on has warrantied them no problem each time.

I bought the 3 first. I'm a sucker for big stuff. I don't use it everyday, but the power of it's bite amazed me so much, I later bought 1 and 2. I would say I use 3 the most with 2 a close second and 1 is there pretty much for looks so far. Great pliers in my book.

Snap-On owns Bahco. In the US, when you buy Bahco, you are buying Snap-On.

Here is a size comparison for you. IMO the 0 and 3 are too small and big for most automotive uses. Also notice the handle differences on the 0 and 3 compared to the 1 and 2. :headscrat

I have all four, and they all get used on occasion. Left one on the back of a truck once and lost it, still mad about that. Someone found a nice tool on the highway.

Was just saying that for ebay searches, etc. that the Bahco name might net a better price for the same tool than something with the Snap On name on it. I assume that they also made the same wrench prior to Snap On takeover so there are likely some non snap on versions out there for the taking.

I have the Pwz1 and the Pwz2 and the 2 gets used most often on alignments, especially big trucks with the relay rod setup. The 1 gets used mostly for frozen tie rods, and the 2 when i need some more muscle to get the job done.

They changed the handle design, the ones with the black overlay are the newer style.
