Thought I would resurrect this one. I’ve fired of a well worded letter to several companies I personally patronize with some success. I will post the companies, their responses and what results as time allows. Corporate goodwill and self promotion is alive and well from what I’ve gathered so far

Sent from my iPad using Garage Journal

The only companies who have ever sent me stickers along with parts I have bought are;

Spax - Car suspension manufacturer
Hope - Mountain bike parts
Powerflex - Car suspension bushings

Thats it!
Out of all the stuff I have bought over the years.... 3 ****** stickers lol

For you guys that want to cover your boxes with stickers....

Buy some Toolbox Widget products. Every item comes with a 2-1/2" x 5" sticker. By the time you get you get the drawers of your box organized, you will have enough "wallpaper" to cover a lot of the outside of your box!

Sounds like Rock Auto magnets.

Ive found most firearm parts manufacturers really love sending stickers and other swag. Never tried tools. I throw em all away anyways.

I buy a lot of car parts, so RockAuto is a given. But I kindly asked CorkSport (Mazda things) for a sticker, they sent a ton of swag along with the parts I ordered. There's also Clusters by Litke (VW/Audi cluster mods, very active guy in the community) who sends gummy bears with orders -- that's a neat touch in my book, and his work is top-notch.

I have a bunch of tool and car part stickers on the windows of our garage door and our refrigerator. I enjoy being able to show my support for brands that have done well for my needs, and I think it makes for a neat conversation piece in the kitchen.

If you want stickers, get into motorcycles. I've got a box full of stickers from motorcycle parts/tool retailers & manufacturers.

These companies throw good after bad on marketing. Stickers are dirt cheap, esp when an interested customer comes to you! That's their dream... it's a no brainer.

They piss away huge money to marketing wonks who come up with lame ideas. If they just did special edition stickers with their tools.. 'collect them all' type deal, they'd get good value for money.

Bike companies are sticker crazy.

Did this during my senior year of high school in the last month with a bunch of auto/moto companies and parts. Volvo sent several stickers and a model S40; Porsche sent a ton of beautiful over-sized posters; Fiat sent stickers a notebook and flag; race teams sent stickers and lanyards. Cheap and great way to buy some goodwill from customers!

The shipping company that I worked for gave every employee a trinket at the monthly safety meeting. An occasional keeper. Mostly just junk. The boatnerds will pay money for that stuff. Amazing.
