Was away from home for work last week and needed a screwdriver. Picked up a craftsman set for a song, and it had this 4 way. Got home and compared it to my old one I’ve had since I was a kid (~8?). I carried that thing EVERYWHERE. It’s amazing I didn’t lose it.

Pointless post. Just thought it interesting seeing the “same” tool, but 25 years apart....

I kept one on my keys for years. Never remember using it ever, so I took it off.

I have a few laying around.

Cool post!

Got one on my keychain... fun fact about these. Buy em off the register container? USA made. Get one in a screwdriver set? Made in China. I’ve always carried it but never needed it.

I have used mine now and then. The small blade can be used (note that I do not say "fits") on a #2 Phillips head screw if not putting too much torque on it.

It also helps remove a bottle cap.

I keep one in my pocket at work and use it all the time. I work as a maintenance mechanic for a large corporation and get paged to different areas to fix equipment. We have multiple tool boxes spread around the facility so this 4 way screwdriver comes in handy just open up panels and doors to access the issue.
