Thoughts on a used Bendpak

So I've found a craigslist ad for a used Bendpak lift, which is approximately 13 years old. It is a floor plate version with no model number mentioned. They did say that it is a car and truck lift. They are listing it for $300 and it is already broken down. I would love to hear all your thoughts on the matter and any suggestions. My garage is 24' deep by 26' wide with 16' ceilings. That's a tricky one, but I'd probably take a chance at $300. There's a good chance its a scam, but they did leave a number...give them a call. Make sure it has all the controls, hydraulic lines, and arms, otherwise replacements can get expensive.

That's probably a $2500-3k lift new, $300 is a steal...if it works correctly. I'd be interested in seeing how it was "broken down", and how closely it now matches the pic in the ad. At the very least, I would go see it with cash in hand and a truck/trailer.
