I have another thread up in General Garage Discussion focusing on tearing it out. My thoughts have now shifted to Filing these cracks and coating by a professional company.

Can you give me your opinion whether this floor is able to be saved. Garage is 20x22

Also if there are any contractor recommendations in Chicago I would appreciate a recommendation.

Honestly, you would be spending a lot of money to try and patch that up as well as apply a coating. All that with no guarantee that movement and cracking would not continue and ruin the work. Your money would be better spent on a new pour.

Shea is correct.

But if you want to take the route of fixing it, see our prior posts on pouring a self leveler to correct it. Cracks will need too be fixed first with crack repair products we carry.

Alternately you can do a quickie skim of concrete over the cracks and just cover over it with our www.supratile.com. Will never crack or fail, can be installed in hours and allows for floor movement.
