Thoughts on hobart xvs welding helmet

I can score a pretty decent deal on a Hobart xvs welding helmet thru a friend using her work discount. I had my heart set on a Lincoln viking 3350 but in Canada its 200 more then the Hobart. My main concern is I do a lot of body work and not sure if the helmet will keep up with the quick tacks.

I don't think it will meet your expectations. I'd look at the Jackson Truesight or Balder helmets. They have the non green tint which is very nice.

Thanks for the input, i have been looking into a bunch of different helmets but am having trouble finding anything. The optrel and truesight look good but since Im not a commercial account anyone in Canada here is trying to bend me over with pricing which ***** because I would love to get into tig but am looking at over 2000 just for a starter machine
