Thoughts on Milwaukee Axis jackets?

Haven't seen much talk about the Axis gear yet, and curious if anybody has some feedback. I picked up a jacket fall 2016 and love it, and of course the GF is jealous and wants her own. She has horses and my family farms/works outside so we're in the elements a lot and she hates being cold. From what i've seen online it looks like the Axis would work nice under a heavier coat, but some of the reviews i've seen say that the battery placement on the womens is bad compared to the men's. I know at first mine was uncomfortable but once i got used to it i don't even notice it. Only complaint i have is mine ran a little large compared to my other jacket, would like to surprise her but i'll probably have to have her try one on.

Currently the best price i've found is $220 for the jacket kit with a Milwaukee rebate for a handwarmer, an extra charger, 1.5 battery, and a worklight, or $170 for the bare jacket but still comes with the Milwaukee rebate. Interested to see if any better deals pop up this weekend.

I bought myself a the men's Axis vest a couple weeks ago and I'm really impressed with it. It's very light and comfortable. It heats up faster than my hoodie and tough shell jacket that I bought last winter, and I feel like it gets a bit warmer overall. I imagine the Axis jacket would be very similar.

One mistake I made with the hoodie and jacket was getting a size too large. I usually wear medium shirts and large hoodies and jackets, so I ordered those in large. I got the Axis vest in medium and it fits perfect, and I can feel the heat much better.

Those prices seem about right, I would wait and see if Acme Tools has any coupon codes for Black Friday or Cyber Monday. They often run 15% off specials, along with free shipping and no tax to most states.
