If by "states" you mean United States, I've never heard of them before now so I'd be hard pressed to say they're a big brand here.

T&E is an aussie brand selling taiwan tools mostly. They operate out of NSW.

They are somewhat available here, only if you really look hard. Being that they are mostly taiwanese and don't have much in the line of innovation, they would go unnoticed here.

Now with that said, I did own a ratchet from them. It was one of my favorite 1/2" drive ratchets and replaced a S936 at the time. They don't make it anymore. Was a beast, and I commonly used it on large Detroit v8 2 strokes.

They are here but only certian places stock their products. They seemed to be rather high priced for tiawan tools, pretty close to what I can get proto for. I just buy the better stuff, I'm scared of imported tools, broke too many. JMO

I agree with you. Mac's Hardware has been stocking a larger selection of their tools lately. Some of the larger T&E tools feel a little lightweight in comparison to better known tools. And, like you say, the price is a little steep for a basic appearing, taiwan tool.

Had a set of screwdrivers, and although I liked the design, some of the tips broke with minimal use, sent it in for warranty, never saw it again.
