Hi Everyone!! This is my first post on here have been looking around for a while and love the site! Here my story/thoughts I have a New (3 year old ) Garage (24x34) that I built for a hot rod hobby shop, that do to alot of request and desire to make some extra cash I have started to do some mech repair, Brakes, struts, timing belts that kind of stuff well i have been thinking it would be nice to have a hoist, however i only have a nine foot ceiling, i know i'll have to watch out on some of the cars roofs but do you think this hoist would be a decent compromise?

The 55" lift is not enough for comfortable under the car work. But it should be suitable for brake work. Incidentally, you posted this thread in the Garage Gallery forum. And threads here are supposed to have pictures of your shop for all of us to admire. So pony up. LOL

If it fits your needs it the right one!
However, since you'll have it "forever" - for another grand, you get a full lift....something to consider.
