Low end home owner grade Wilton, stamped steel slide. Not sure I'd pay more than $50. for it, if that, but someone probably will.

Crappy vise, but sells at Home Depot for $129 due to the Wilton brand. I think the standard Craftsman 6-inch vise is the same vise, and currently sells new for $80:

Not a bad vise for a homeowner, or back-up vise. In my area, 80$ is high. 50$ or less would be reasonable.

American made Columbians like that aren't bad, but the chrome handle makes me think that is an import. How about one of these?

Not bad? Hell, that's a Bison, and an excellent vise. I'd grab that one ASAP.

Too bad, that Desmond Stephens in Poughkeepsie is a top quality vise, might be worth driving a little further for.
